It is indeed a lie. If it were true the Jewish diaspora would be speaking Arabic and not languages such as Yiddish which developed over a longer period of time and have clear European roots. There are however Jewish people who do speak Arabic all across the Middle East, and whose distinct identity Zionists generally refuse to recognize, such as with Palestinian Jews. This is yet another case of projection as the ones who persecuted and expelled Jewish people in the largest numbers were historically the European countries.
Ah, the Ottoman Empire that was historically associated with a tolerant view at the time of letting entire religious/ethnic communities be in exchange for the Jizya? The communities protected by the ahl-al-dhimma?
