I don’t think a song about Biden is a good comparison because the culture surrounding political leaders is highly unlikely to happen in the US. A better comparison are songs about “Freedom” or Jesus (in certain US circles).
Most westerners quite obviously understand nothing about the culture of the DPRK and should either be educated and/or ridiculed for their chauvinism. When they make ignorant comments about the DPRK or China, I find they respond better to being treated like they are fools, “Do you really believe those stories?” or “You trust that propaganda?” or “I think you may need to educate yourself better in this topic, because your comment made it obvious you don’t understand their culture/how their government works.”
My favorite is, “Do you know why they do that?” because it easily segues into a teachable moment and, if they don’t care why, is easily followed up with a comment about how their racism and ignorance means their opinion isn’t worth shit.
and as always the orientalist double moral, the so called found fathers and early presidents had achieved deity status but its facts and logic when they are white, when non-white is leader worship brainwash whatever.
For sure, it’s fucking exhausting. Didn’t think of the founding fathers as an alternative to Biden, we got Hamilton in all its liberal glory not long ago.
