    Of course you can.

    Sports ultimately are just for fun. Enjoy it however you want. If you want to be a diehard fan of just one team, and that’s the way you like to enjoy it, then that’s fine. But if you want to root for two different teams, and who knows, maybe they don’t play each other very often, and so you never have to feel conflicted, or whatever your compromise is, that’s fine too.

    And maybe you’re a casual enjoyer and you just like watching the underdog team win. All good.

      Just genuinely curious, I’m somewhat new to sports and I’m getting into soccer/football

        When I was into football I liked a lot of teams. It’s nice to have someone to root for in any given game. Also, you can have a favorite in different leagues.
