In many toys I’ve seen these hidden behind a flap that was held by a screw
I’ll just seal off a (rechargeable) LIR2477 or smaller from aliexpress most likely. I can make a little recharge circuit with a tp4056 (which is cheap on aliexpress. But it seems to be mostly just available in SOP8 instead of SSOP so a little big for some of these small LED matrix toys.)
They have significantly less capacity but my old LED Matrix toy that was much bigger ran off of one or two CR2450 for atleast a month.
