“Just because 2 people happened to be muslim, are communists and pro lgbt that doesn’t reflect us”

Well…yeah, I don’t think anyone was making the argument that ALL muslims were lgbt socialists. Just that the overlap does exist. What a strange hill for them to make a stand on. It’s really not any different than the other abrahamic religions in that respect.

Though entirely anecdotally, the majority of the theists I know who are socialists are Muslim.
