As you can probably guess based on my profile picture, my favourite animal is

click

the beluga whale.

And the gorilla, of course.

And you can’t forget the elephant.

And corvids.

And equids.

And dogs.

And cats.

And I think that’s all.

Also what’s your full name and address, asking for a friend

I’m weirdly interested in insects. Especially in jungle like environments. Jungles and mega forests as a whole are really cool to me. But I’m not an expert. I just like to watch them crawl and do shit.

Besides cats and dogs I really like cows as well. They’re really friendly animals.

I don’t think I have a favorite animal though. I like all my animal friends.

Also I really want to make one of these closed ecosystems in a jar with stuff you find in puddles close to you and shit. I could watch that stuff for hours.

I watched some ants for aaages the other day. They were trying to get a grain / seed into their nest, but it was too big. First they took it in turns trying to get it in from different angles. Then one went in, came back out with a grain of sand, and tried again. Eventually they got the food in, but they took a long time. fascinating watching them co-ordinate and work together.

They should’ve used a comically large spoon for the grain

Ants are fascinating though. I get absolutely hyped when I’m watching a documentary and all of a sudden it’s ant time.

I think the ants are on Lemmy.

They lifted a wooden spoon from my kitchen about an hour after you replied.

Now they’ve industrialised half the garden and got the squirrels burying nuts in one big collective hole.
