    I think that probably played a part. Ukraine has shown much of the world how ineffective the US is at replenishing their stockpiles. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see a lot more anti-imperialist action around the world within the next few years, as nations becoming increasingly convinced of the US’s “paper tiger” status.

    Of course, if this happens, it will also almost certainly result in the US engaging in another active war in one of these places in order to re-establish dominance. I don’t know what the outcome of that would be. Crumbling empires are weaker, but they are still empires.
