No the EU absolutely did this to themselves, sometimes we take pity on the estranged petty eurocrats which seem to stumble unto themselves because they’re gormless idiots.

However I’m saying do not, the institution of the EU and it’s clownish servants deserve full blame and punishment, the EU is the most rabid anti-russian entity on this earth, every decision they make against russia, is far more deranged and dull compared to even the yankee ones.

They did this to themselves, the next decision will inevitable harm themselves again, this regime has put its capitalist project on the full accelerationist blast to its own demise, and I’m cheering them on.

Although the US blew up Nordstream, there was still the original route remaining, plus I think part of NS is still functional. Europe just implemented the sanctions by order of the US.

It’s not really privateering, privateering would be in case of war. In time of peace it is piracy (and casus belli).

USA only do it to Iran because Iran can’t respond very meaningfully outside of doing the same which would also be piracy. Unlike Iran, Russia have an actual blue water navy and nukes. Piracy is awfully confrontative and it would skyrocket serious incident probablity.

Also Russia could eventually use Q-ship to catch them, afaik it’s legal against piracy.
