Economic forecasters say Germany will suffer a worse slide in economic output than had been expected. A recovery is predicted, but that is also likely to be weaker than previously estimated.

    They should keep bleeding themselves out to genocidal fascists. Seems to be working so well for them. And totally ignore the US commited an extreme act of terrorism with that whole Nordstream thing and fucked up your economy.

    The consequences of slavish devotion to Washington…But don’t feel too sorry for us, most Germans are bootlickers, they are happy being dogs of the US. There is a reason why this government was voted in. We will continue to be obedient even as our lives turn to shit. The rich and the upper middle class don’t need Germany to have a functioning industrial economy, they will continue to be able to make money. And the rising energy prices won’t bother them either, they have already started installing solar panels on their homes. If the poors think of starting trouble we will be beat down by the police. The rest in between will struggle but keep their heads down and just do as they are told. Nothing will change about the trajectory we are heading on, the German people have decided to go full speed ahead off a cliff at the bottom of which they think they will be rewarded for their loyalty but what really waits there is fascism, when everything truly implodes and people start looking for someone to blame.

      I mean it’s already happening, AFD is gaining more and more popularity every year and SPD has decided “if you can’t beat 'em, maybe we can join them” (referring to that scholz interview where he talked about doing large scale deportations)
