This is just disgusting for the sake of being disgusting, and same, as I was reading this I was just imagining Michael Myers or Jason just fucking brutalizing them.
I think you are trivializing it, when you get to think about it you can come to some interesting reflections on oneself or possibly start overthinking the human psyche for the hell of it. When media is just made of the sake of being disgusting it is shallow and empty, but I haven’t found that in The Coffin nor in the American Psycho. If they were extremely shallow I wouldn’t be talking about them, nor be interested in them, nor would they have the following that they do now!
But maybe it is for the better that you trivialize this, only makes it easier to know that you are a good person. Myself, due to my infatuation with this stuff, I sometimes have some explaining to do when I’m not phased by something and others are.
Yes, they don’t have badass scenes, which is why I don’t get any liking to the point of pfps
Guess them just being horrible little piece of shits living in a crap sack world in their 20s is enough for some people to be more “relatable”. Keep in mind, Bateman was “cool” not because people related to him but because they wanted to emulate him. His wealth. His status. His image.
It was something unattainable and lusted over, he was (wrongly) in the eyes of some the peak of masculinity. And just that, the reaction he gave people and how they approached his character was something that intrigued me! Rightoid psychos salivating over him, while being absolute manchild losers is something that probably will never get old for me. There’s just something addicting to know why they are like this! Dunking on them is also a part of the fun.
On the matter of siblings, for example there are the Twins from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, they’re also complete psychos but badass
Honestly I was disappointed with the twins, with how they were hyped up I thought they would’ve been much more present in the third season. While I found their shootout with Hank rather thrilling, it was very disappointing to see them go this quickly. That’s why I think they don’t have as big of a following as one thinks they would. We knew too little, and we’ve seen too little. We didn’t see that human part of them, except maybe for the vest buying part, and thus I didn’t think much of them or their motives. Their past could’ve also been built upon a bit more and their relation to Tio.
Does Better Call Saul build up on that? I haven’t watched it yet, and would love to see how they are portrayed.
There are limits and incest is the peak of them, I can stand watching blood, killing, whatever, but that’s just something completely disgisting and loathsome. It makes me sick and I want to vomit after even hearing about it.
Honestly, it’s now interesting to me how I didn’t react to the incest part as much as others did… now that’s gotten me thinking about my psyche! Am I fucked up, and if so how much and by what metrics? Why did I consider the incest to be just the cherry on top, and the rest of their horrible acts as the main course of disgust towards them? Did I hate them enough already up to that point that this was just another thing to add to the pile?
Oh I love self reflection and trying to understand the worst in others and myself! It helps so much in improving, but also is a thrill in itself!
For my cousin, yeah you saw the post, idk if there is any help to him, but he really should be investigated since he bothers many members of my as I said in the post, and if he wanted a cannibal for pfp, he he could have just put Hannibal Lector.
Well there’s definitely something worse than a cannibal. A (relatively) relatable (and hot [you can’t deny that his design isn’t attractive]) zoomer cannibal, hope he grows out of that shit or at least has a distanced fascination with The Coffin like I do and matures through it rather than getting more and more corrupted. But that is easier said than done.
If beating it out of him with a copy of Capital Vol.1 over the head won’t work, try to exploit his fascination with edgy stuff against him. Unfortunately I wouldn’t know how to do it. For me GenZedong was the saving grace, but I haven’t kept a journal and it would be hard to say how I was saved from such a fate except for one:
He must one day open himself up to the information you want to feed him, bullying might work to speed this process up but I can’t say for sure.
American Psycho was made as a critique of consumerism/capitalism as far as I know, so it’s not just psychotic serial killer doing his thing, it’s a lot more deeper than that. Idk if that cesspit was supposed to be some deep horror or what, but the incest part tells me more than I want to know about it and enough to never look it up.
What even is relatable in there? I think that dinguses who look up to Patrick think about like you said, his wealth and trying to appear ‘‘cool’’, but let’s be real, it all comes to Christian Bale’s rizz and ‘‘literally me’’ thing is ironic I think. Wtf is even ‘‘relatable’’ in this? When I look up to characters ‘‘like this’’, I think of badass characters, like just imagine liking psycho characters and out of all of them you choose this? There’s tons of horror movies, Creepypastas and games that have that without the disgusting shit.
There is more of them in Better Call Saul and even more badass scenes, we don’t get much more backstory but it humanizes them a bit while working with Nacho. Hank just had a plot armor thicker than minerals until Ozymandias which resulted in the twin not just shooting him in the head right there so that’s the reason. ‘La familia es todo’ is the main thing with Salamancas so that’s why they’re close to Tio, same with Tuco and Lalo.
Yeah as I said, I can watch killing, blood and cannibals since I watch horror movies for a very long time and I’m used to it, but this and sexual violence/rape and pedophilia just makes me want to vomit and I don’t even want to talk about it. Nah, Hannibal Lecter got that rizz, both Anthony Hopkins and Mads Mikkelsen, why choose some ugly ass edge-lord abused by his incest sister over him? He needs to grow out of this and be put in his place. How do I exploit it tho? Yeah GenZedong was what radicalized many people.

Whole family needs to bully him so bad.
