China has helped Zambia restructure its crushing debts with the IMF and World Bank. As always, the US response is more guns, bombs, and threats of sanctions. There is copper in them thar hills and it belongs to the US, Canada, and Europe, and they’ll fight anyone who thinks otherwise.
