      I love the imperial framing of shit like this. “That’s propaganda.” Ok, but is it true? “It’s propaganda.” What like the people don’t really exist? Hamas isn’t really releasing them? Didn’t Hamas already release other hostages? What are you actually saying? “It’s an enemy talking point.”

          I hear what you’re saying, but if you openly call it propaganda, most people (libs and conservatives) will take it to mean lying. People will switch off their critical thinking skills if you call it propaganda.

            I agree. It’s obviously a term used in conversations with people who have a common understanding with you. And we need to seize opportunities to point out that liberals’ beliefs are equally as propagandistic when we are debating them.
