Does the show get better as it goes on? I’ve read and heard how awesome the show is, but the first few episodes are such a slog. I find Steven unbearably annoying.
Some people like the later episodes since it does change to focus on the larger plot and backstory. Personally I didn’t like it as much because the tone of the show becomes too self serious.
I don’t trust anyone who likes steven universe (myself included ofc)
