      The crisis will be a colour revolution with the new government approving the construction of a US military base as close to the mainland as possible. And China will be the aggressor somehow.

    Man, this guy is legitimately insane. Regardless if anyone agrees or disagrees with the titles conclusion, the authors reasoning is beyond ghoulish.

    His first reason we shouldn’t aid Taiwan is because China is the US’s largest trading partner. The second reason is that invading Taiwan would exhaust China’s military capabilities enough for the US to swoop in after and invade China.

    This is like final form Kissinger brain.
