In addition to sinophobia, it’s also cuz they’re old as fuck and get defensive when they realize that things they like (youtube/insta) isn’t the only hot new thing anymore. And they don’t wanna spend the 30 mins it takes to learn it.

I’ve met a lot of cool internet boomers (millenials) on tiktok. So this isn’t a blanket condemnation against them. But goddamn do the ones who complain about it almost always are cringe as fuck millenials.
