How long/what will it take before the national bourgeois of Germany do something substantial to fight back against subservience to the US in clear contradiction with their material interests ? I’m surprised it has gone on the way it has already with little push back

That’s the big question, business interests in Europe are obviously not happy about this, but seems like they’re not at the point where they’re willing to challenge the political leadership. I expect that with the public opinion shifting against the war there’s going to be push back soon because they’ll know they have the public on their side.

The Niger situation is causing a similar situation for France. France’s economy relies a lot on nuclear power. They used to get Uranium from Niger for extremely cheap and sell the energy to their people, their industries and the neighbouring nations at quite a profit. Now an energy crisis is looming over France too.

If both Germany and France fail, it’s likely the EU will need to reform or fail too.

The US is using this as a great excuse to invite European companies to America, cannibalizing EU manufacturing permanently and turning them into dependent rump states.

Does anyone recommend any countries outside of the EU to live? I don’t know how bad this is going to get.

If things get really bad, all of Europe will be affected. I was thinking of good countries to live outside of Europe.

Norway is in the EEA though and Switzerland is in all but name, they have very similar agreements with the EU. Honestly, cannot recommend the UK either, it’s a right shithole
