Don’t get me wrong, this is nowhere near revolutionary and the advice is kinda meh, but it’s very out of the ordinary for a US politician to instruct the population on how to explicitly defy the repression forces.

Just to add some thoughts to this: Lenin wrote that we should seek reforms as much as possible to aid us in our preparation and to enable our revolutionary work without neing satisfied by them, iirc.
This lends itself to the following summary: it seems lime mamdani is a step in the correct direction, not the solution of all our problems.

Turns out, at least the quote i thought it was, wasnt from lenin himself. Prolewiki lists it as kuusinen but i thought stalin wrote the fundamentals of marxism leninism:
