Know your rights, Zohran Mamdani tells New Yorkers how to resist immigration raids

In the video, Zohran Mamdani said his administration will work to protect the city’s large immigrant population. "We can all stand up to ICE if you know your rights," he said, stressing that people in the United States can legally refuse to answer questions from immigration agents.

Don’t get me wrong, this is nowhere near revolutionary and the advice is kinda meh, but it’s very out of the ordinary for a US politician to instruct the population on how to explicitly defy the repression forces.
