The spectre of communism is back to haunt Europe. Let the ruling classes tremble at the thought of a communist revolution

Hahaha! Is the ruling class this afraid?

I’m not too informed about things in Poland, but I think that despite their aims, all they’re accomplishing is radicalizing the communists in Poland further. And when people won’t bear this suffocating system anymore and will begin searching for answers, being banned or not doesn’t matter.

No. Communism is nearly dead in Poland after 30 years of lawfare, deplatforming and other harrassment. Ruling class is setting a judeobolshevik strawman to heroically defeat, as per the best tradtions of nazi propaganda.

    What is happening?

Constitutional Tribunal basically banned KPP, the only communist party in Poland, after 30 years of trying. And while the party has been effectively dead by years of constant lawfare, the verdict is problematic because it setting up the official constitution reading from kinda nebulous “propagating totalitarism”, with no definition of totalitarism to just ban for communism.

Though there are some doubts because the legality of tribunal itself is questioned, and this decision was made violating a lot of its own regulations. Libs would have to do something about this though, and i don’t see it happening.

Phew close one, now Poland’s democracy is saved from authoritarians that would seek to ban their political opponents and forcefully impose their ideology on the rest of society. Wait a minute…

First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you.

This is a very common saying that has many variations on the internet. But this exact phrasing was used by Nicholas Klein at a convention of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America in 1918.

The only really acceptable Slav to the west is a fascist one; if they couldn’t wipe them out/enslave them through Lebensraum then they made sure (or tried) to eliminate any threat to Western Capital. Socialism gave them sapience and the western hegemony is not happy till that has been undone.

Online english speaking post-warsaw pact people are rapid anti-communists and combined with victim-complex the size of israhell & nativist supremacy, they also tend to be quite nasty as well.

This will just radicalize the Polish communists more, to the point where they have nothing to lose

That’s old article from october, at 3rd december Constitutional Tribunal basically banned KPP, the president is yet to sign it, but he was the one who started the procedure so it’s pretty much guaranteed.

Though there are some doubts because the legality of tribunal itself is questioned, and this decision was made violating a lot of its own regulations. Libs would have to do something about this though, and i don’t see it happening.
