Enlisted is a WWII shooter, if you’re unaware. I highly recommend it for people who like this sort of game. it’s FTP, and lets you play out your great patriotic war fantasies. It’s honestly one of my favourite games, I’m obsessed with it.
I’m curious if other lemmy(grad) users play it, I haven’t found anyone else I can talk to about it.
Is it like the older men of war games by 1c? Highly recommend the whole series.
No, but I guess the squad system has some elements that you could say are similar.
When I was told about it, the person said it was “warthunder, but with soldiers”. Aside from Enlisted having a lot of the same assets and being made by the same people (Darkflow is just veteran Gaijin employees), it’s very much it’s own thing. And, at least in my opinion, unlike any other first-person WWII shooter on the market. I highly recommend playing it, it’s consumed a good 30 or so hours of my time so far and I’m nowhere near the end of my rope with it.
I have a copy of MoW Assault Squad, is a fun game. different to this one, but still fun.

Yes! War games are not entirely my thing (of the FPS games, I prefer Halo, Valorant and Titanfall), but this one catches me.
