Where the writer doesn’t unpack the contradictions like claiming that giving aid increases the independence of the receiving state while requiring it to export a high percentage of it’s produce to the giver state?
Doesn’t sound very independent to my if you give me $100 but then I have to work for you for two days a week at less than minimum wage. In fact, it sounds very much like you’re only giving me the $100 so that you can control me. On a country scale, one might call that (neo)colonialism but the author in the link doesn’t follow it through.
Funny how they can identify all the facts but refuse to rely on those facts when coming to a conclusion. It’s an uphill struggle, for sure!
