of course you’re right, but at that point it still might make sense to get the nuclear deterrent to prevent the enemy from regrouping and coming back. or rather, it would be a tactical retreat on the us’s part, not a true end to the war. i’m not smart enough to say but i think it might still make sense for iran to get nukes.
