Hello comrades, a while ago I asked some questions regarding GTFO of Ukraine, and I’ve gathered some info on smuggling pricing and other stuff. tl;dr the only feasible way for me to escape is by foot on my own, so rn I’m biding my time to see how far I can wait into the internal collapse to minimize the risk of me being caught, as the longer the war goes the more AFU human resources shrink and therefore, in theory, it should be easier to escape. There is also a part of me that hopes for a collapse of the frontline or our economy as a whole in the near future. I don’t expect any peace deals to be signed any time soon, but I am optimistic - time may be on my side in this. Despite the lack of heating, power outages, inflation, and everything, I am not giving up hope, even if out of pure stubbornness. And what about you people? How’s it going as of late?

While certainly an option, unfortunately, I’m almost as far away from Belarus as possible - I’m a southerner from Odesa, and Belarus is on our northern border. So that makes this significantly more complicated. Sorry to hear about Trump, and happy to hear it’s going well otherwise!
Be very careful comrade if you’re planning on crossing the Tisza or Dniester rivers to get to Hungary/Moldova/Romania. Especially now in winter it could be very risky and not just because of the cold. I read a lot of stories about people drowning, getting shot or getting caught by the regime while trying to escape. In summer you have more tree coverage which helps hide from border guards. I’m also not sure how much you can trust the current Romanian or Moldovan governments to not deport you back to Ukraine. Hungary and Belarus will definitely give you asylum. Unfortunately the border with Belarus is probably the most heavily surveilled, maybe even mined. I wish you the best of luck and i am truly sorry that you have to be in this situation. And i hope you make it through the blackouts ok.
