I mean, the OP community has been fairly disgusting towards the couple trans characters there, in a story entirely about how prejudice and oppression is bad, I don’t think they care for history or reasoning I think they just want to hate trans people.
lmao I just want to see the LOOK of their faces once they find out that their “wholesome chungus apolitical mangaka” is left-leaning/a leftist, with the amount of leftist references he makes in his manga (Che Guevara lookalike, the antagonist’s flag originally resembling an Iron Cross before forced to make it different by the editors, etc.)
They never did. All those cries for “historical inaccuracies” in FICTIONAL MEDIA, mind you have always just been an “acceptable front” to cower behind and voice their hatred.
