What’s up dads, grads, and everyone else - June is here and with it, a ton of massive video games. June’s usually pretty slow game release-wise, but this yea...
Only things slightly interesting for me are Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI, though i definitely won’t play in neither, Diablo is way too expensive and also the seasonal formula it will sure follow is hard offput for me, and FFXVI is PS5 only so far so i can’t even technically. Also i would bet we will not only get shit conversion as nearly always (FFXIII for example had conversion totally killing the game) and combat is again real time. Though the FFXV combat was actually not that bad, definitely brightest point of this otherwise drab and boring game.
May releases were WAY better: DLC’s to CK3, Stellaris, Victoria3. From new games Age of Wonders 4, pretty nice tactical adventure - Miasma Chrinicles and a new Star Trek game after ages of nothing (i need to check it).
I also checked that Star Trek: Resurgence game, and the only thing i got resurgent from it is the immense disappointment. It’s crap. It looks like Mass Effect Andromeda had a child in 2008, the animation is shit, controls unresponsive, laggy and ofc ported from console, the interface is simply dreadful, as cherry on top it get such a lag that you can easily go to main menu accidentally which resets your entire chapter progress.
Guy: “I’m a pretty hard sell on strategy”
His list: one very niche strategy

Ugh, more RTS crap or whatever you call it.
