Large portions of the Russian economy are nationalized. There are national unions. Communists and socialists are not only allowed to participate in government but also remarkably popular. Just off the top of my head.
Again, it’s not to say that I support the way Russia is currently run. But keep in mind that in terms of proximity to socialism, Russia still has a few leftover remnants from when they were the largest successful socialist project on earth but Germany has never had socialism anywhere near that level.

They couldn’t fully privatize and follow the western model because they know that it would mean the complete destruction of the country, so they have to maintain quite a lot of state ownership in order to keep their economy ticking.
Fair, but it’s still true that Russia is NOT fascist. They still have strong leftist parties and unions. One of the few consistent things about fascism is that they always ban those like was recently done in Ukraine.
