Right now I’m trying to reach 85kgs of body weight in a month or three, in a healthy way of course. Currently sitting at around 78-80kgs.

Also took up squats again after a lengthy period of not doing it due to pretty big lower back issues (caused by leg press, of all things). Trying to take it a little bit easier and to keep form in mind. Currently doing 80kgs but I hope to reach 150kg before summer starts.

Also liking this job alcohol thing so I might just try to keep sober as well.

Honestly I just want to get back to lifting regularly. I am not looking to be a power lifter. If I could get my 4x10 sets for deadlifts to 250lb or so I would feel pretty happy with that. Maybe push to 300 as a higher end goal. Similar for squats. Benching I’d be happy with 200 or so. All of these are quite far off imo. I am taking any progression slower now because I’m tired of rocking injury. If I go up 5-10lbs in a month hen that’s good enough for me. I’m also trying to get my weight and diet in check but it’s hard. Living with people that fill the house with utter garbage food makes it so much harder to about that shit.

Even 5-10lbs can be a huge increase in some lifts. Take your time and gains will come eventually.

Also, have you talked to the people living with you about their food choices? Maybe they’d want a healthier diet as well.

They are my boomer parents. lol. They are too set in their ways to care to change no matter how much I have explained to them how bad for them refined carbs, sugars, and seed oils are. At this point I can only try to work on my will power and keep saving up in hopes I may one day be able to afford a home (lol).
