MSI is a continuation of Mussolini’s fascist party after the end of WW2. Francesco Rocchi, head of the Lazio region, and Miguel Gotor, adviser for cultural affairs in the Meloni government both were present at the rally. There was no condemnation or commentary on the surging crowd in central Rome.
A relative of mine who worked in Italy can testify that pro-fascist sentiment is alive and well in Italy. Went into some guy’s house, dude had Mussolini napkins.
