Here’s some free speech for the west. The anticolonial and anti imperialist left trapped in the west who have a platform to be heard by many are transphobic by always lumping social progressivism into the democratic party platform AND… those same leftists low key hope that more stochastic terrorism kills more trans people. I said it and Im not wrong. How is that for free speech?

    I agree with much of this–obviously I hate the West and Western fascism plenty–but to say that it all boils down to “mass hysteria about trans people” is a pretty off misdiagnosis.

    I would wager most normal people either don’t care about trans people, feel mildly positive or mildly negative about it. That is certainly the case with the majority of normal people I talk to. Only fascists care THAT much. Granted, there are a lot of fascists here, their values are baked into society, but neoliberal Wokeism has also made particularly GSM issues well accepted by a large portion of society. I’m not saying that transphobia isn’t rampant or that people aren’t dying by said stochastic terrorism, only that it is not THE central issue. Trans issues are just a slice of the pie, and there are other issues that occupy bigger slices–IMO racism, war, militarized police state, pro-capitalist/anti-socialist propaganda, just to name a few, but even none of these are “THE” central issue.

    I’m also confused by your last paragraph. I see that DankZedong brought it up and you relate it to PatSocs–sure, I can see how PatSocs by and large act about trans issues, I don’t disagree with that. But I don’t see how Western leftists “always lumping social progressivism into the democratic party platform” is related to this. I’m not even sure what exactly you’re trying to say with this sentence.
