Some of these potential member states seem to have diametrically opposed interests, particularly Iran and Saudi Arabia. In your opinion, who amongst these potential states will actually be accepted?

  • Saudi Arabia is too close to the US,Afghanistan is too fucked, Egypt has a trillion dollar/s debt, Nigeria has the shell problem rn, Senegal is…, not sure about Nicaragua, Algeria is very close to India China south Africa and Russia, but it’ll still be surprising for it to join. My guess is either Argentina Indonesia or Iran or all of them, but hopefully as many countries as possible join.

If Saudi Arabia can be reoriented away from the US such that the Petrodollar is no more that would be the biggest geopolitical defeat of the US in in its modern history. Iran is already basically a done deal BRICS wise, and Argentina too. Things are not going well for Washington at the moment, they are losing ground everywhere and the only “victory” they managed is to tighten their grip over their European vassals at the cost of Europe’s economy. The final nail in the coffin would be Turkey flipping, and it’s looking good on that front too, Russia and Turkey are closer than ever, Turkey is set to replace Germany as Europe’s gas hub, and relations with the US are strained to say the least judging by some of the comments made in response to the recent terrorist attack in Istanbul.

Unfortunately those five bases are a guarantee that the Saudis can’t just turn around
