PiS absolutely hates him because he torpedoed their plans for giant building scheme in the city that would allow for huge influx of money to the party for years to come at the expenses of public institutions - it was high corruption case that would put a lot of people in slammer in non corrupted country but alas it is Poland and nothing happened (so called “Afera Srebrnej”).
