The ‘hat thing’ is an AWACS (or AEW&C) pod - basically mobile radar that lets you detect incoming threats like planes, missiles, etc. and such planes also direct the fighters present acting as a command platform in the area of combat.
The fighter, the Su-30 (actually depending on if it’s PLAAF or PLANAF it’ll be either the Su-30MKK or Su-30MK2 respectively) is a supermanoeuvrable, all weather, strike fighter (roughly equivalent to an F-15E in USAF terms) but the versions China uses (built by Russia still) have a bunch of fancy upgrades taken from Russia’s own Su-35 project. All of these Sukhoi fighters are derived from the Soviet-era Su-27 “Flanker”, one of the sexiest fighter planes ever built (factual statement, not opinion) and Flanker variants are pretty much most of the Russian inventory at this point, and were quite a lot of the Ukraine’s inventory too until they got blown up. While these ones aren’t strictly communist engineering, the original design was, so it’s still okay to simp.
The one with the hat looking thing is a Shaanxi Y-9 and the fighter jet is a Sukhoi SU-30 idk about the other 2
The bomber is the Xian H-6, a Tupolev Tu-16 built under license
Thanks Stalin
I will pretend I know what those words mean and oogle at communist aircraft designs.
