We live in curious times. This is a right wing libertarian host (formerly of Fox News) interviewing the notorious architect of the brutal, arguably genocidal neoliberal shock doctrine which was inflicted upon the eastern European post socialist space in the 90s, and yet… it is one of the most lucid commentaries and most concise yet thorough summaries of the history and present state of the Ukraine conflict that i have seen thus far. If you had told me just a few years ago that these two people whom i vehemently disagree with ideologically would produce better geopolitical analysis than so many self-described leftists and socialists i would have laughed and called you crazy.
