    It’s less about being “involuntarily celibate” and more so the ideology the permeates the incel community. If I remember correctly “incel” used to just be a descriptor and like a support group for people who longed for intimacy but just haven’t had it, literally involuntary celibacy. It then evolved into the violent ideology it is known for today with phrenology, encouraging suicide and murder.

    It’s normal to feel some sort of compassion for these people as the initial pull to the incel community is understandable, but it’s also normal to be disgusted and scared of who they are after. Sure, there may be other universes out there and sure, maybe in one of them you did fall down that rabbit hole, but at the end of the day the you in this universe is the one that matters the most. You didn’t fall down the pipeline and you ended up here.
