Seems controversial around these parts. But I cannot for the life of me support a lot of the authoritarian governments that claim to be leftist, especially the DPRK. I’ve read all the literature (finally) and I can’t believe any leftist would support them. I understand the importance of an authoritarian government during times of revolution, but the countries that employ it almost always feel anti-leftist and contradictory to leftist theory. I’m only recently this far left and I may just need more exposure. But even by their own metrics I don’t believe them to be leftist and they only use those labels to further indoctrinate people. Cuba is the only country I will support and even then, they’ve made inherently pro-capitalist and pro-imperialist decisions that make me feel that they too are moving into the position of being an authoritarian capitalist country with a mask of leftist bastardization.

Fedora and Arch right now. Fedora is what I main and Arch is just for ricing and testing things. Been trying out VanillaOS recently and I really like it. I use Void and Gentoo on occasion when I feel like tinkering.

Oh I’ve been taking it all in, I do take a while to internalize new information so I may seem ignorant for a little while. And so far I haven’t attempted to seriously employ much theory or any at all. But you’re right. I’ll definitely turn off the NPC brain while I’m on here. I suppose I broke one of my rules and came into here with expectations that lead me to misinterpret this community.

I’m half shitposting/antogonizing and half going through caffeine withdrawals most of the time so that’s probably where that sentiment is coming from.

linguistically this is not a very good method of language acquisition.

i mostly mean that im okay with holding more than one sides views, ill happily hold communist, socialist, and capitalist views at once while holding spiritual and aspiritual beliefs. it might be eclectic but it makes the most sense to me. and im not so evangelical in disregarding capitalism or communism entirely, so a hybrid of socialism and capitalism or socialism and communism seem equally merited to me, but again thats just opinion and we are both biased in that.

im fine with not agreeing, i dont usually agree with people. but I do value your position and ideas. freedom of thought is really important to me and i do hope one day for at the very least a more socialist form of capitalism. sorry we got off on the wrong foot. i dont mean to come off as such a strong capitalist liberal, though my sense of humor being parody and stereotypes and me flip flopping from ideology to ideology might make that hard.

As a centrist I’m just not very inclined to go all the way to one side or another, but I will read your provided sources like I read rightwing capitalist shit daily. I’d like some less biased sources that have less of an agenda but I’ll find those on my own. I’ll probably stay in the center but learning is learning. Especially when it’s something as subjective as economic and social systems.

I replied to another one of your comments addressing most of these things, I hope that clears it up too. I’m starting to think this might be a bit of a language barrier problem.
