This week (December 1-6), our Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, through the various municipalities, will deliver projects that will improve the living conditions of Nicaraguan families; these projects are as follows:

  1. DECENT HOUSING
  • 63 homes in the municipalities; Juigalpa 11, Posoltega 10, La Paz Carazo 10, Matagalpa 7, San Nicolás 6, Somotillo 5, Chinandega 3, Bluefields 3, Mozonte 2, Nueva Guinea 2, Nandaime 2, Sébaco 1 and Managua 1.
  1. STREETS
  • 41 paved and asphalted streets, in the municipalities; Villa el Carmen 8, San Francisco Libre 6, Managua 5, Estelí 5, Nindirí 3, Rosita 2, San Francisco de Cuapa 2, Acoyapa 2, Ocotal 2, Ciudad Sandino, Diriamba, Dolores, Muy Muy, Ticuantepe and Wiwilí of Nueva Segovia.
  1. PRODUCTIVE PATHS
  • 92.09 kilometers of improved rural and productive roads, in the municipalities; Ticuantepe 30, Jinotega 17.90, El Ayote 12, Boaco 12, San Sebastián de Yalí: 8.5, La Trinidad 7.19, San Dionisio 1.6, León 1.5, Rivas 0.9 and San Marcos 0.5.
  1. RECREATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
  • 17 Parks, Water Parks and Plazas, new, rehabilitated and improved in the municipalities; Telica 3, Bonanza, Condega, El Ayote, Muelle de los Bueyes, San Marcos, San Juan de Limay, Altagracia, Mateare, El Tuma la Dalia, San Dionisio, Bluefields, Ciudad Sandino, Mateare and Larreynaga-Malpaisillo.
  1. SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE
  • 12 new and improved stadiums, sports fields, courts, gyms and multi-sports facilities in the municipalities; Bluefields 2, Muelle de los Bueyes 2, Achuapa, El Sauce, La Concepción, La Trinidad, Potosí, León, Totogalpa and Villa El Carmen.
  1. HOUSES OF CULTURE AND CREATIVITY

  • Achuapa: Expansion of the José Adán Hernández House of Culture and Creativity.

  • La Concepción: Improvement of the Dr. Alejandro Dávila Bolaños House of Culture, in the 19 de Julio neighborhood.

  1. CDI, SCHOOLS AND HEALTH POSTS
  • Rehabilitation of CDI in the municipality of Belén.
  • Improvement of 5 schools in the municipalities of Estelí, Tipitapa, Tola and Rancho Grande 2.
  • Improvement of 11 health posts in the municipalities of Ciudad Antigua 4, Esquipulas 2, Muelle de los Bueyes 2, Bluefields, Matagalpa and Matiguás.
  1. COMMUNITY WATER SYSTEMS, DRAINAGE AND SANITATION WORKS
  • 12 new and improved water systems in the municipalities of: El Jícaro (5), Muelle de los Bueyes (2), Cinco Pinos, Nueva Guinea, Potosí, Tipitapa, and Nandaime.
  • 5 drainage and sanitation projects in the municipalities of: Murra (3), Jalapa, and León.
  1. BRIDGES, STAIRS AND SIDEWALKS
  • 4 vehicular and pedestrian bridges in the municipalities; Altagracia, Jinotega and Sébaco 2.
  • Construction of 360 linear meters of steps and sidewalks in the municipality of Matagalpa.
  1. MARKETS AND FAIRGROUNDS
  • 2 improved markets in the municipalities of Chinandega and El Viejo.
  • 1 rehabilitated fairground in the municipality of Las Sabanas.
  1. CEMETERIES, LANDFILLS AND BUS WAITING SHEDS
  • 1 improved cemetery in the municipality of San Juan del Río Coco.
  • 1 rehabilitated landfill in the municipality of El Rama.
  • 9 construction and improvement of bus waiting shelters in the municipalities of Villa el Carmen and Larreynaga-Malpaisillo.
