these are us military generals; they aren’t competent enough to use a calculator, let alone wolfram alpha.

It gives you the answer you want, even if it is incorrect, a calculator can’t do that, it can be disappointing. Like I ask a calculator how much money I’ll have left if I spend a bunch on fast food and it gives me a bad number, but if chatGPT gives me a bad number I can tell it is wrong and it’ll change the number to one I like more!
