@RedWizard@hexbear.net didn’t you have a comm or instance that was aggregating RSS feeds or was that someone else?
About us:
Taking an explicit political stand as a nonsectarian left, feminist, anti-racist and anti-imperialist publication, JUMP CUT is committed to presenting and developing media criticism which recognizes: (1) media in a social and political context; (2) the political and social needs and perspectives of people struggling for liberation — workers, women, oppressed minorities, people in the developing world, gays, lesbians and queers; (3) the interrelationship of class, race, and gender oppression; (4) new theoretical and analytic perspectives.
Yeah, I have to see if there is software or a script I could use to monitor the site for changes and publish an RSS feed based on those changes. That can’t be that difficult, right?
This site is pretty rad. I might need to reach out and ask if there is anyway an RSS feed could be made of their publication so people can subscribe to it.
To appreciate Disney’s coherent social vision, we also have to get past THE LION KING’s bizarre, rather incoherent story. We see a host of antelope and zebra reverently bow down before a Lion King who makes no bones about wanting to eat them. The King and his Queen seem a monogamous pair; however, no other breeding male is visible in the pride of many lionesses. Hyenas inhabit a dark, nether region; when their population spreads out, their wasteland, for no apparent reason, spreads with them.
Why is this site not part of the Hexbear canon?

Edit: wait hold up. This site is so old school that it might not have an RSS feed because it predates it.
