Report prepared by Monika

The following document provides an overview of the Imperium’s current economic state as of the date mentioned above. Please be aware that the information presented may no longer be accurate in the future.

  1. Inflation

Hyperinflation has persisted, reaching an unprecedented level of sixteen quadrillion (1.6e16) times. Consequently, the value of Monomarks as a circulating currency has significantly plummeted. Citizens have resorted to alternative uses for Monomarks, such as utilizing them as a substitute for toilet paper due to the exorbitant costs associated with purchasing the actual product, assuming it is still being manufactured. This has created a crisis regarding the worth of the currency itself, as the value of a single bill is now significantly less than the materials used to produce it. One potential solution to alleviate this issue is to introduce trillion-Monomark bills into circulation, thus increasing the face values of individual bills.

  1. Business

Regrettably, the inflationary pressures currently experienced have resulted in the closure of numerous businesses. Our esteemed Padishah Kaiser recognizes this as an unfortunate consequence of our existing economic policies. However, essential businesses vital to the Imperium’s well-being, such as Lockheed-Martin and Microsoft, have received subsidies in the form of gold to ensure their continued provision of equipment and technological advancements required by the Verzweiflungwaffe SS.

  1. Strikes — a side note

Despite policies implemented to prohibit strikes, the continuous devaluation of our currency has led to an unfortunate wave of strikes within Imperium factories. Fortunately, our robust military has promptly dealt with these movements, effectively preventing any threats to the Imperium’s integrity.

In summary, while the current economic conditions raise slight concerns, the critical areas remain stable and secure. Our economists will closely monitor the situation to ensure timely adjustments and interventions as necessary.

Hey, Monika here. if you see this, could you get some extra coffee packets from the agitprop department upstairs after you take this to the executive chambers? We’re running a bit low, thanks.

    Report prepared by Monika

The following document is intended as an overview of the state of the Imperium’s economy as of the date listed above. Please note that it may no longer be accurate in the future.

    1. Inflation

Hyperinflation has continued, reaching an all-time high of sixteen quadrillion (1.6e16) times, rendering Monomarks mostly worthless as a circulating currency. The citizenry are finding that it is more cost-effective to use their Monomarks as toilet paper rather than spending untold amounts of money on the actual product, if any was still being manufactured. There is a crisis regarding the actual worth of the currency, the crisis being that a single bill is worth much less than the paper and ink it is printed on. We can hopefully alleviate such issues by increasing the face values of individual bills, i.e by entering trillion-Monomark bills into circulation.

    1. Business

As an unfortunate side effect of the inflation we are currently facing, many businesses have been forced into closure, a phenomenon which our great Padishah Kaiser has regarded as an unfortunate side effect of our current economic policies. However, businesses vital to the well-being of the Imperium, namely Lockheed-Martin and Microsoft, have been subsidized with gold so they are able to continue to provide the Verzweiflungwaffe SS with the necessary equipment and technology a functioning military requires.

    1. strikes—a side note.

Despite the implementation of policies banning striking, the constant devaluation of our currency has caused unfortunate streak of striking across factories in the Imperium. Fortunately, our well-maintained military has been able to stop all such movements in their tracks, and none have threatened the integrity of the Imperium.

In summary, the economic conditions are slightly worrying, although none of the areas that matter are in any serious danger. Our economists will keep a close eye on the situation.
