News articles about people asking things like “I have £1 million in savings and a £1 million pension pot. I own my 7 bedroom mansion outright with no mortgage and I own three other properties that I rent out. Can I afford to retire?”

I’ll gladly take one. Really, we need laws against hoarding homes, or at least a huge tax on multiple properties. But this will never happen because politicians and royals make money from hoarding homes. Prince William is a landlord, IIRC he owns around 600 rental properties and his tenants have been complaining that the homes are damp, mouldy and nobody ever fixes the problems.

More like “My dad gave me everything I have including my false sense of accomplishment. Can I afford to stop pretending I am a contributing member of society and just go back to what I do best? Spending someone else’s money on things that I can claim make me successful.”

I’m so sick of hearing about rich people problems.

Want to make retiring easier, have we considered NOT making housing a luxury for the rich? Why should anyone care about property values when raising property values just destroys the quality of life?
