I recently received this flag as a gift but I am completely stumped as to what it is (the person who gifted it to me does not know either). The flag appears to be from this eBay listing and is simply labeled as F-1936-B. I have tried reverse image searching and searching for terms such as “white stripe USSR flag” but have found nothing.
It looks like a variation of the 1936 USSR flag. The F is for enumerating, 1936 is when it was adopted, B means the variation (A is the official 1936 Soviet flag)
However, I couldn’t find it on the internet
No, but it looks like a white stripped version of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakh_Soviet_Socialist_Republic
The flag of the Kazakh SSR seems to use a different version of the hammer and sickle and the blue stripe appears to be slightly thicker than the red below it unlike this unknown flag where the white stripe and the red below it are the same thickness. Plus the eBay listing is for various historical flags of the Soviet Union so a flag of a specific SSR would be out of place.
Second this, it was the best match I could find as well.
Maybe it’s sun faded? Otherwise it may just be an alternate color scheme I suppose.
