Ballot access rules vary wildly between states. In some getting on the ballot is super easy (Florida). In some it’s a lot of work but doable, and
organized to make that happen (California, Minnesota, Virginia). In some the latter is true but the party was repressed and removed from the ballot anyways (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia). In others the bar to get on is so high that it’s basically impossible for new parties so a write in is the best we can do (NY, Michigan).Had to write her in in CO this year which is funny because Kanye was on the last ballot

They don’t appear to have much more “party discipline” than the Democrats (who expect nothing of themselves, of course). They’re prone to the same bs like this happening and should not be taken seriously.
I think the only hard vetting was the issue of Gaza as she said her VP was going to absolutely be pro Palestine. I don’t know where Stein stands on the sports inclusion issue specifically, the party platform does not address specifically the issue of sports, but she has advocated to undo discrimatory laws against LGBTQ+ people.
I can’t find a direct question to her on it. As a medical doc it would be good for her to weigh positively in. The Democrats are using this moment to smear the party as a whole at the Daily Beast, which is odd because they all know greens are more inclusive than democrats on this issue.

I see racism and transphobia as a core part of libs, even the ones who pretend to be slightly to the left of socdems. I’ve gotten both “subtle” racism and transphobia from them, and in scratched instances, some have taken off the mask.
