Oh cool, an anti-Semitic, anti-communist “anarchist.” I’m sure they’ll be really successful with their movement and certainly won’t be killed by nazis when they show up to an “anti-tankie rally” and say the wrong thing to the wrong guy.

Ukrainian anarchists split into pro-Maidan and anti-Maidan currents in late 2013. Pro-Maidan factions got beaten by Nazis and then either abandoned politics completely or joined Nazis, while anti-Maidan factions got imprisoned, killed, driven into exile or just abandoned politics too.

making MLs, which in that mod are basically in the position of what left-coms are today, basically just “red fascists” is so fucking stupid. because otherwise a lot of the alt-history stuff is pretty cool and well put together. i like how so many obscure leftists figures from history end up in major roles because of the timeline.

and there is the understanding of the overlaps of fascism and syndicalism during the 30s and it addresses that but in a crude way

i just wish they would drop the pretense of the dominant ideology being anarcho-syndicalism because when the game starts it’s basically just Council Communism in all but name.

Vanguard parties are not fascist holy shit Kaiserreich

it is but i will still thank that mod for helping push me away from liberal socdem territory into marxism

grinding the 2ACW over weeks of after work gameplay did more to radicalize me then anything since (except maybe r/chapo)

mostly because i had to keep looking up various historical figures, definitions of things on NATOpedia, then i ended up on marxists.org and more obscure places.

I just recently changed jobs and a friend from my same industry, but who works on another company, asked md if I didn’t had loyalty. Hard to translate because in Portuguese the words is “fiel” that has a religious meaning too. And I was confused af, so I said that I’m loyal to my wife, to whom else I ever need to be loyal? To my employer?? Lmao?? We’re actuaries, so we’re pretty privileged, and have more power on the work relationship with our companies that other workers, but we’re still workers at the end of the day, I’m trying to wake her up, but is an uphill battle.

Honestly I doubt this ghoul would ever have been a true comrade. Imagine being “loyal” to the most warlike, genocidal, imperialist nation on earth which is the scourge of indigenous peoples, leftism, and actual democracy worldwide. Not even just “patriotic” (though there’s no justification for that, for the US of all places in particular, either) but “loyal.”

Someone from a local Maoist org proudly told me they were ordering American-made org shirts, the implication being that they therefore were not supporting China or using Bangladeshi labor.

The minds of Americans are a thing to behold.

I would have told him there is a very high chance that those shirts would have been made by underpaid immigrants, if not literally ‘illegal’ migrants.

Yeah if I was going to argue I’d say things like that. I’m trying to get an overall vive check on that org to see if they would be good in a coalition.

Or thing they do where stuff is made elsewhere and the label is made in the US, then the label is put on the label of the thing. So it becomes “Made in the USA (which was made in China).”

Not pictured of course is porky clapping with glee as the working class fights itself. It’s almost as if they haven’t actually read any theory or something and they just like a aesthetic.
