    Someone from a local Maoist org proudly told me they were ordering American-made org shirts, the implication being that they therefore were not supporting China or using Bangladeshi labor.

    The minds of Americans are a thing to behold.

      I would have told him there is a very high chance that those shirts would have been made by underpaid immigrants, if not literally ‘illegal’ migrants.

        Or thing they do where stuff is made elsewhere and the label is made in the US, then the label is put on the label of the thing. So it becomes “Made in the USA (which was made in China).”

        Yeah if I was going to argue I’d say things like that. I’m trying to get an overall vive check on that org to see if they would be good in a coalition.
