Admittedly, while I was one of those in the OG thread pointing the possible danger out (and seeing it at gross at the time- in hindsight an understatement)- I feel there is also a much broader social stigma against perceived “cheaters” from most parts of society, even amongst women. There were some she/hers saying essentially the same shit in the thread (along the lines of “cheaters get what they deserve,” etc).

I don’t agree with it, of course- but the sort of “‘cheaters’ get what they deserve” mentality is very, very common. There’s no shortage of women “getting back at” not just the cheaters- but those they cheated with as well- actually it’s rather stereotypical and common for many to go after the “homewreckers” even if they didn’t know anything. Women can absolutely be misogynist as well, after all. And having a vengeful streak (or schadenfreude at others’) is definitely not just a thing for dudes or even straights, admittedly I think that’s just a natural human instinct (one perhaps shared with most complex organisms?)- that can be put to good use or humor, but also and far more often than not is put to bad.

Rambling here but- in hindsight it really was incel shit- at the time and in the thread I mentioned it gave me a bad taste and tried to discourage it, but I didn’t then see it as such till people really started pointing it out days after the fact. I do think it is just that societally common (and am very glad that Hexbear is taking a principled stand against it), a form of normalized inceldom (well, something that predates the term “incel” for sure). A stand had to and has to be taken against it, but I think it’s something that also needs to be (and will be a reoccuring process as new people come in) hammered into peoples heads, the understanding of the consequences, of other people’s possible circumstances, of empathy, etc. In some ways I’m not even sure if I agree with permabanning (though don’t care overly much- if they wish they can always make a new account and better themselves) some of those posters, but they certainly could not be allowed to spew that shit.

There will never be an invasion of the US by its enemies as long as the US has nukes, so that one is ruled out.

When and if the US starts lobbing nukes (entirely possible) the reasoning behind that becomes a whole lot less, particularly for what humanity is left after the pyrrhic victory over YanKKKeestan. And if and when the US balkanizes or enters civil war- if it doesn’t wind up nuking its own citizens in the process (also entirely possible) the entire world should see to it that the dreaded settler-imperialist, hegemonic ideology is rooted out in its entirety and support whatever factions might allow that.

Honestly I don’t think there can ever be anything even remotely considered peace, unless the entirety of the US and the Anglosphere is de-Nazified (or rather, de-settlerized- not depopulated of whites, but having the entire ideology and even the mentality dealt with akin to the cultural revolution on steroids). Personally I live in an Anglo country as well and that’s certainly my take on it, these are the countries that for the past 200~ years have been promoting every evil imaginable all across the globe (not talking about progressive things, those are the rare showings of humanity albeit often repurposed for PR instead), that have been waging war and genocide against indigeneity across the entire globe (taking up the leadership mantle of 500 years of western genocide and barbarism).

American and west European culture will have to be rebuilt and re-examined from the ground up, as the Soviets did (and with the assistance and oversight of the entire world upon the west, there should be no leeway). And American and west European state frameworks and institutions will also have to be rebuilt from the ground up, the rot is simply that deep.

This all sounds simultaneously fatalistic and idealistic- but my expectation is that the Yanks and the imperialist mentality will truly push things to their furthest point before there is any hope of changing course, that the spiral will only further continue, and for who knows how much longer, before finally they reach a breaking point. I hope not, but seeing the sheer pervasiveness and control of the neocons, of neoliberalism, and knowing firsthand how the culture of settlerism is, this is what I’d expect. And when things do reach that point (and if we all still live after, or not) whatever remains of humanity will have to ensure the settler-imperialist world system never develops again.

I’d genuinely like to be proven wrong, to see even the US/collective west with all their flaws disband NATO, ideally even start negotiating with or seek to join BRICS, and accept the end of empire with grace and get to work on resolving their own internal issues through peaceful reform if possible. Of course, we all know just how ridiculous, unprecedented, and structurally impossible any of this would be.

Admittedly, were it not for voices like those of Norman Finkelstein, Max Blumenthal, and Aaron Mate among others (and anti-Zionist Jews I’ve talked to or seen online and in person) it would be hard not to as well. Even as is it is- not hard exactly, but it is a matter certainly resisting and reeling myself back from the instinct when I do see such absolute vileness draped in Judeo-washing (no different from pinkwashing/etc I guess) Zionism.

I’m reminded of that Hitler’s childhood Jewish family doctor (Eduard Bloch) who cared for Hitler’s mother, often pro bono, before she died of cancer. At her funeral, Hitler bowed and expressed his “eternal gratitude”- he later also sent a postcard and handmade gifts. As the antisemitic policies intensified, Hitler assigned him special protection by the gestapo so none of it would affect him. He was allowed to sell his home at market price and emigrate. Then there was also that one little (ethnic) Jewish girl (Bernile Nienau) and her mother, who befriended Hitler as well, were photographed many times together, and who called him “uncle Hitler…” I guess they were allowed to live too.

Honestly, if she offered enough Treats™ (or even just diverted a fraction of the wealth US elites hoard to the masses) she would probably get carte blanche to do anything overseas or even domestically to smaller groups, than she could ever want from the majority. (I might not be very optimistic on settler and even broader assimilated-Anglo society and culture). Yet thankfully they can’t fathom doing that either, they have to have their cake and eat it too.
