“I fled communism in Nicaragua when I was 8 years old.”

No, at 8 you didn’t have any agency, your political beliefs were chosen by your parents and further cemented when they moved you to a place where you wouldn’t be exposed to anything else.

I firmly believe none of these people actually believe or think much about what they’re saying. They just say it cause people clap and they get money for it.

It’s like the Eastern European 90s kids waxing poetic about their “lived experience of the horrors of communism.” It’s just an aesthetic.

No mention of Milei or Bukele lol. There are some Venezuelan gusanos who support Kamala Harris say they are progressives, but only when it comes to US domestic politics. Because when they talk about Venezuela they know 100% that Maria Corino Machado is an extreme right wing pro Israel anti indigenous racist and they support her.

It would be best if you had done this a month ago (Time flies we are already in school for a month) but it still better late than never.

The Sandinistas at least right now are not communists (They are Christian Socialists) and I’m also sure they recognized the “ROC” as the real China until recently
