Hi comrades,
This winter I intent to dress fully punk. (I love the culture surrounding punk) I have plenty of experience printing my own T-Shirts with stencils, patches etc. But now I want to upgrade my leather and denim jacket with studs, cuz this would look cool af.
No the issue is, that I don’t have a lot of money (fuck earning less than minimum wage). So I will have to order studs from Ali Express. I need basic studs.
The question I have now is, what studs would you recommend, and how many. I wanna play around a bit and make cool things.

Great battle jacket. I’ve been looking at getting studs from studsandspikes.com but anywhere is fine, really. You can start small; the whole jacket doesn’t need to be studded. You can also just wear a studded belt and/or bracelets.
Just steal them from Hobby Lobby. They don’t have anti-theft towers or LP.
Edit: also if you want a nice back patch but the band you like doesn’t make them you can buy a T-shirt, cut the graphic, sew it on, and go over it with clear nail polish or something similar and voila. Or you could staple it on if your hand starts to hurt from hand sewing a whole back patch on, not recommended but it’s what I ended up doing when I was a punk kid.
Edit edit: You can also fill in empty space with safety pins, they look edgy but they also serve a practical purpose if any of your patches (or someone else’s) start to come off.
