For context, this is about Ola Electric. They’re actually saying they’re the 4th largest (*excluding China), but even that isn’t true, since they’ve also excluded competing Indian brands. They’re 4th largest excluding China and India. And even then they’re comparing their combined revenue to EV revenue for others.
I’ve seen a few variations on this theme where China ends up being excluded from the stats because it’s just so far ahead. It really shows how China is really in a class all of its own nowadays.
