    I for one have no forgotten how Republicans were starting to talk about exiling anyone protesting to Gaza. Fucking insane rhetoric.

          I’d say for the same reason the US Democrats are. They prevent leftward shifts within the legislature and provide the “friendly” face of capital with a party entity.
