China is forcefully breeding trees as mass slaves to suck up CO2 and in turn creating settler colonial trees that are displacing native deserts and enacting imperialism on deserts.
At least the Chinese are actually doing something about the climate crisis. If the Anglosphere and its allies put in more than a morsel of effort into reversing their environmental devastation then it’s unlikely that the PRC would have considered going to these extremes.
